Residential rat prevention

Suited for property's with a long term rat problem that putting poison down has not fixed, or even made it worse.

Our Residential Rat Prevention Plan is designed for properties experiencing persistent or recurring rat problems—especially where traditional poisoning methods have failed or even worsened the issue.

Before any work begins, a comprehensive site survey will be carried out to identify the root cause of the problem. This ensures that every measure taken is based on clear evidence and a full understanding of how and why rats are accessing your property.

The prevention plan covers all agreed works identified during the site survey. Once entry points and causes of activity are located, they will be addressed using the most appropriate and effective methods. Any necessary remedial work will be completed to ensure long-term protection.

If trapping is required, visits may be as frequent as daily to monitor the extent of the infestation. After the initial works are complete, a follow-up visit will take place 2 to 4 weeks later to assess site activity and use tracking methods to confirm whether any rats remain.

A third visit, approximately 2 - 4 weeks after the second, will verify that the property is free from rat activity. At this point, any remaining exit points can be sealed.

Rats always find their way in from somewhere—they don’t live in your home, they only nest there.
